Navy Strapless Sweetheart Beaded Prom Dress with Split

We did the custom dress with alterations for my daughter, which seemed very detailed. The dress itself is nice for something inexpensive, but I don't recommend doing custom. It was all wrong and way to big. Now I have to take it somewhere local and have it altered again. This has a very long train. Probably too long for prom. The material is kind of like a stretchy spandex and doesn't wrinkle, so bonus points there! All in all, the dress is pretty. The beading is pretty. It does come with lightly padded cups. Lesson learned on ordering a prom dress online. Just get the regular stocked size and have it altered locally.

I bought this dress on March 26, 2024, for my prom the next month. I got it tailored but paid for expedited shipping and got it on April 15!! 20 Days!!! I was so incredibly relieved that it showed up at all because I heard such mixed reviews.

Not only did it arrive in time, but it looks exactly like the pictures!! The tailoring wasn’t perfect, there’s a little puckering where I can tell the seam ended, and it doesn’t fit me perfectly around the waist (though that could be my own fault if measuring, if you consider tailoring it though the website be sure to take into account that you might tighten the dress a lot with the corset style back).
The gems are beautiful and sparkly and just like the website photos. The fabric isn’t the highest quality (you get what you pay for so duh) but it’s stretchy, comfortable, not scratchy at all, and looks gorgeous. There are really thick built in cups that don’t quite fit me (despite me putting in my measurements) but it looks fine. The train is much longer than I thought it was, so definitely check that out if it might bother you. The thick hem bit is also really difficult to lay out properly and probably won’t ever look good without someone laying it out/staging it but that’s lowkey to be expected. The straps are very sturdy and so are the corset loops so you don’t have to worry about ripping. It also has those safety ribbon straps for storage/hanging. The zipper is like every other zipper I’ve had on a dress, and it’s pretty short, so very unproblematic.

Dress is fantastic quality and really well made! I went for ready made sizes so definitely look at the sizing charts to get an idea of what you want. I would say you need to go up a size from what you actually are. Customers service is really responsive and helpful.

I got so many compliments on this dress. This dress was true to size and it was good quality for the price. The dress is long so definitely need to wear heels with it.

Fit so well, and looked amazing on me. I got a ton of compliments. I look forward to wearing it again!
